Biergarten Festival Auction
The German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC), a 501(c)6 non-profit organization, serves to create, facilitate and advance German-American business relationships and opportunities in Colorado and Germany, while supporting German cultural values and traditions, such as the Biergarten Festival.
GACC Executive Director Natalia Wobst was recently nominated along with 100 Colorado leaders as a delegate to travel on the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Exchange to Munich, Germany from October 17-22, 2017.
Denver and Munich. We have long spoken about the synergies between our mountainous cities, referring to such ties as the partnership between the Denver and Bavarian Philharmonic Orchestras, Denver and Munich International, our sister airports, and our love of malt beverages. On May 11, 2016, a flight between the two cities was inaugurated, due in a large part to the support of GACC members.
Now, Ms. Wobst and the GACC have the opportunity to learn about and bring international best practices back to additional Colorado-relevant sectors: Contemporary Global Leadership: Talent, Innovation, Connectivity & Culture; Workforce Development: Apprenticeship Model; Entrepreneurism | Creative Industries; Livable Cities | Advanced Mobility Solutions; and 21st Century Manufacturing and Trade. Additionally, the Bavarian Philharmonic has offered a live performance for the delegation while they are in Munich.

GACC in Munich. Auction funds will directly fund Ms. Wobst’s participation in the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation Munich delegation and tickets for the delegates to attend the Bavarian Philharmonic performance on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Interested in donating? Please fill out a 2017 BGF Silent Auction Donor Form and email it to email@example.com, if you have a product, service, or experience to donate. Deadline: July 1, 2017.
Did I win? Winners will be announced from the stage at 5.30pm on Sunday.

All sales are final. Donor provides description and an estimate of the fair market value for each item. The GACC-CO will agree with the donor on an opening bid amount, as well as incremental bids. The amount you pay above this fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Unless otherwise specified, all auction gift certificates must be used within one year of the date of the auction. Restaurant certificates do not include alcohol, tax, or gratuities unless specified. Payment for items purchased must be made in full on the night of the auction to the cashier by cash, check, or credit card. Following payments, you may pick up your purchases in the checkout area.
